illa's pre-birthday

yesterday we went to watch He's Just Not That Into You which i found very charming. the plotline was all over the place in a way that made sense. and that you followed.

and the acting was pretty natural. and the people were pretty.

before the movie, i had a slight dilemma.
i wanted to trim my hair cuz of the split ends that were slowly pissing me off... but then. when i went to cut my hair. ili and illa were gonna go eat.

we ate at some japanese restaurant that had a queue. WOW.

oxidising agent: potassium dichromate(VI)
>> goes from orange to dark green.

ethanol + sodium

Fermentation of Sugar (sugar cane)
glucose + yeast --> ethanol + carbon dioxide + wter

If air is present--->creates ETHANOIC ACID.

earth hour 2009

i totally forgot to do a post on this.

i decided to light some candles in the hall and sing songs like nobody waas therree [illa was in her room doing art coursework. what a party pooper T__T]





but then i got the wax on the floor and had a hard time getting rid of it. i still see the stains... but mummy hasnt asked. hope she never will *fingerscrossed*

senior music concert 2009

alice smith is great you know. thanks to the rich daddies and mammies, the kids are so exposed to great instruments [and teachers too?]

i wished i learnt how to play the piano.
or violin.


wahhh. thinking about it makes me chuckle >__<

the music concert this year was absolutely wonderful. the theme was movies and all the music was from significant movies. i was very happy they had the pink panther, wallace and gromit and the maple leaf rag. *whee*

here are the highlights and my fantastic commentary that came with <3



There were these two kids that played the bagpipe to amazing grace... Isn't that just awesome?! On the second night they wore kilts. LOL. ftw!!




Then my favourite piano trio <3!!! consisting of Aoi, Lucy and of course, my Eun Hye lalallaa!!! I find that they really understand each other in playing the piano. i was blown away. like always <3.
